Come out for this fun family event where we celebrate the Cinco de Mayo and promote a healthy lifestyle, in the heart of downtown Fayetteville!
Event Details
We have lots of activities for the kids and fun displays of our Mexican culture, we also have traditional dancers coming to perform for the crowd. This year we will hold a costume contest, anyone can participate. Cash-prizes will be given to the top 3 overall men and women. Runners come out and enjoy a fun time with the family and friends!
RACE AMENITIES:
The John E. Norman Cinco de Mayo event is Fayetteville’s best kept secret road race, every year over 400 runners take part of this signature event and battle for cash prizes; the climbing Walls for kids, face painter, balloon animals, selfie station, color station and traditional folk dancing. Also, we remember the founder Julio Ramirez and keep his spirit alive.
Believe me...it’s a one of a kind event that, by the time it is over, you can’t wait for the following year.
