Welcome to Woman to Woman: There is Power in Our Stories, a women's empowerment brunch. This event is for women of all ages who want to live a life of purpose and become more empowered to do so.
Event Details
The event speakers include Mrs. Carlotta M. Winston, Mrs. Hollie Young-Oxendine, and Dr. Gloria Thomas Anderson, all sharing stories about life, empowerment, and purpose. In addition to their inspirational messages, the event also includes a light brunch of fresh fruit, pastries, and beverages, beautiful door prizes, and vendor exhibits. Come join over 100 women to be encouraged, inspired, and recognize the power in your story!
Speakers’ Brief Bios:
Carlotta M. Winston, BS – health educator, motivational speaker, survivor and social justice advocate against childhood sexual abuse, supporter of the What I Be Project that focuses on empowerment through story and photography
Hollie Young-Oxendine, BS, BA - influential wife and mother, singer, survivor and domestic violence advocate who believes in the quote: It's never too late to become what you might have been (George Eliot).
Gloria Thomas Anderson, PhD – national motivational speaker, professional consultant for end-of-life and advance care planning, author of Passion for Your Purpose: Discovering Peace, Direction and Balance in Your Life, 3rd Edition and The African American Spiritual and Ethical Guide to End-of-Life Care, 7th Edition
