Owned and operated by the Tregembo family since 1952, the Tregembo Animal Park in Wilmington, NC is South Eastern North Carolina’s oldest zoo. George and June Tregembo first opened the park doors in 1952 with just a handful of species. Today we have over 100 species of animals including a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. From the Prehensile-tail Porcupine and Snow Macaques to the White Bengal Tiger and Two-toed Sloth, you’ll see them all at Tregembo Animal Park.
