About Holden Beach
Holden Beach, North Carolina is nationally recognized as one of the premier "Family Beaches" in the United States. They like to say they're "proud of what we do not have," high-rise hotels, neon, and commercial overload. This small residential community is a nice place to enjoy the beach and the natural wildlife.
Holden Beach is a bike-friendly town offering three bike routes, each with its own history, totaling 20 miles. It's a popular spot for turtle watching when every year the sea turtles come to shore to lay their eggs. Other fun attractions include the Magic Mountain Fun Park full of a go-cart track, water slides, and mini-golf, which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The beauty of the unspoiled beach of Holden Beach is also highlighted by their free summer concerts every Sunday night at the pavilion under the Holden Beach bridge. It's a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy the finer things in life!
