Description
The Arsenal Camp maintains an active schedule throughout the year, both defending and celebrating our Confederate heritage. The Arsenal Camp takes its name from the Fayetteville Arsenal, an important military installation of the 19th century located in the Haymount area of Fayetteville. The Arsenal helped to supply the Confederate Army with ammunition, small arms, and the Fayetteville Rifle. The Arsenal was destroyed by Union soldiers in March of 1865 and is now the site of the Museum of the Cape Fear.Get to know Fayetteville Arsenal Park
