We are thrilled that we are able to offer our popular Turtle Trot 5K with restrictions to help keep our supporters safe during COVID-19.
Event Details
Runners and walkers will receive our popular turtle trot t-shirt and winners will receive a beautiful sea turtle medal! Please read our rules and regulations carefully before signing up.
Registration
30-minute staggered starts
Pay attention to registration start time listed on Eventbrite = your raceday start time is same
Online pre-race registrations only with 7 pm deadline the night before raceday
NO registration day of race
35-person limit per start time
First-come first-serve registrations for time slots
Raceday Process
Must check in 10-15 minutes before your time slot
Race pack with t-shirt and bib available at check-in table in front of Turtle Central
All registrants for each time slot will be started at same time by race official
No restrooms available
No pre-race ceremony
No post-race winner ceremony
Race winners receive sea turtle medals (winners notified after race about medal pick-up)
Other Rules
Keep spectators to a minimum and socially distanced
We encourage bringing own water = only 1 unmanned water station on route
No beach route due to erosion and narrow beach around the shoals
Pay close attention to signs = route maps available at check-in
If you miss registered start time, we cannot place you in the race
If the event is cancelled on raceday due to inclement weather, no refunds will be provided, but participants will still receive their race packets
